CTA 802.1x wired Problems with Usernames

Hello,

i have a big Problem with the Connection from User over the CTA802.1x wired Client with single sign on against the Microsoft AD. (802.1x Client Version 4.0.5.5189)

When a User have the Word "from" at the beginning of his Login-name, so the Login over the 802.1x-Client failed. Nothing will be transferred from the Login-Information to the AD; i can see (or not seen)this in the Debug Mode of the involved Switch.

Is this Problem known?

Also "ä,ü,ö" will not work.

Hi Hartmut,

Suggest using CSSC with CTA.

CTA 802.1x supplicant have limitation.

CSSC is free for basic features, advanced features (support wireless) need license.

You may need to un-install CTA with 802.1x supplicant first, follow by install CSSC + CTA (without 802.1x) because CSSC have built-in 802.1x features.

Please take note of the installation sequence. Because if you make mistake about the installation sequence, you may get a error and the thing didn't work.
