Dual Data & Voice vlan using 801.x

Hello,

We have a setup where currently a single workstation is configured with 2 project data vlans using the 801.x setup and is working perfectly without any problems or glitches, however here is the problem.

I am transitioning both these projects to a Cisco contact centre setup with one project using Core A (vlan A) and the other project using Core B (voice vlan B). I now need to setup the workstation so that based on the user login, not only should the data vlan change but also the voice vlan. How do i get this done?

Option 1 - Data vlan 1 & voice vlan A

Option 2 - Data vlan 2 & voice vlan B

I can either have 2 seperate phones or a single phone, it is the workstation port which is my primary concern. What kind of options do i have and how do i proceed.

Regards,

Uzair.

How about assigning the vlan through radius attributes ?

You can also authenticate the phone via radius too (mac bypass)

Hello,

Can you please give me a few more details on this? Any documentation that i can refer to?

The documents i have read state otherwise.

Have a look at this.
