dynamice Vlan assignment in ACS 5.1

Hi,

I am trying to implement dynamic vlan assignment in acs 5.1.

the network is under domain. I have mapped my AD to acs 5.1 server. if some1 can guide me in the steps for creating dynamic vlan assignment?

I have gone through document, they have created a certificate? i dont know why thats where i am lost?

i am able to map by ad to acs and put the commands but its still not working..

please any hlep would be great..

Hi Nitesh,

if your auth is already working in ACS 5.1 with AD as the external DB, then you should focus on the authorization policy.

The VLAN assignment is handled through a "policy element" that is returned to the users based on the result of the "authorization policy".

The description of how the ACS flow works and what elements you need to configure is included in the ACS 5.x config guide, e.g.:
