Error: Authentication encountered an error due to network, AD DNS

My primary ISE went down due to a power challenge at the DC. Upon coming back online, users were unable to authenticate their domain credentials.

The error: Authentication encountered an error due to network, AD DNS misconfiguration. This may be a temporary error.

I did the simple removing and re-joining the ISE to the domain, and it began to authenticate other users as well.
