How to Downgrade the CAM to v4.6.1

i have a Cisco CAM version 4.8.3 and i want to downgrade it to 4.6.1, i have the tar file of the version 4.6.1, any one can provide me with the right steps of the downgrae operation.

Downgrade is not supported since there are changes to the database typically done when you first perform the upgrade.. Your best bet would be to hav a backup hand of when you had the deployment on 4.6.1 and then reimaging the environment to that version.

Just out of curiosity why are you downgrading?

the problem was i already work by version 4.6.1 but the system crashed completly and the only installation CD i have is version 4.8.3 so i installed it but the snapshot (Backup) cannot be restored bec of it was version 4.6.1, so i need to downgrade from 4.8.3 to 4.6.1 to restore the snapshot, if u have another solution please tell me about it.

NOTE:

i have the tar.gz files of both versions 4.1.3 and 4.6.1 tar only not iso.
