Hi,
Have a customer with ACS 3.2 which will be upgraded to 4.2.
Having no experience of 4.2, can you guys please tell me if there is a way to import the AAA clients without too much drama?
From looking at the other posts, I guess that CSUtils is the answer?
This will be software for Windows, not the Solution Engine
Many Thanks

Hi,
You need to upgrade to 3.3.3 (or 3.3.4) then to 4.1.1.23 (or 4.1.1.24) then to 4.2.
Depending if you have ACS for windows or ACS appliance, here are the links for the upgrade path:
ACS SE: http://tiny.cc/ifqzqw
ACS for windows: http://tiny.cc/lkqzqw
If you follow the correct upgrade path you will not lose the configuration on the 3.2.
Don't forget to take a backup before every upgrade step just in case.

Hi Amjad,
Thanks for your response.
The customer has decied to go for a complete rebuild of the servers, as they are also running AN Other management tool. So, they're going for a fresh install of the latest ACS for Windows.
I guess that all devices wil have to be input again then, as they're not going for the upgrade path :/

Well, whoever that will re-configure the ACS can still save time and effort.
A backup can be taken from current server and can be restored on a 3rd party machine with same current ACS version and the upgrade path can be followed on that 3rd party machine. When reach the versoin 4.2 take a backup and restore it on the original server.
But if the customer still insist to go fresh with the 4.2 ACS then it can be done as well
Regards,
