ISE 1.0.4 - platform migration

Does anyone know if you can backup and restore to unlike hardware. I am in a situation where we are working fine with 3355 as admin nodes and policy nodes but need to get more horsepower as we reach the endpoint limit. I will be at right around 13,000 endpoints when complete and need to migrate to a VM or maybe 3395. Can I just backup a 3355 and restore the backup and certs to a VM or 3395 and off we go?

Hi Steve,

Yes, you should be able to take a configuration backup from one platform and restore it to a different platform.

I personally tested this once while migrating from a 3315 to a 3355.
