HI forum.
Under the installation I typed the mycopany.local as default DNS domain. My internal DNS name lookups works fine and also my internal EAP certificates.
But now I want to configure the BYOD portal with an external certificate for all none domain computers. Can I just make a new DNS A record on my DNS server and point to my ISE as for example byod.mycompany.com to ISE? And can I import a certificate with other DNS suffix than the default DNS domain? Or do I need to change the default DNS domain from .local to .com ? How can solve this one?

You can use a different certificate for your guest portal, if you use one with a public CA you just need the DNS record to match the one of your certificate and have the dns a record.
