ISE 2.0 Max NAD limit

Hi All,

In ISE 1.3/1.4 the maximum NAD limit was 30K, does the same apply to ise 2.0/2.1?

Also is this a hard limit set in software or more of a what was tested, are we likeley to start seeing issues if we go above this limit and if so what types of issues?

Hi,

The 30K NAD limit applies to 1.3 through 2.0.  I'm pretty sure this is a limit based on database size.  ISE 2.1 has increased scale numbers but I need to verify that TACACS+ in 2.1 supports more than 30K.  I'll get back to you once I find the answer.

I am working on a project where we will have about 36K RADIUS NADs in ISE 2.0 patch 2, no TACACS+ for now but future consideration. Would appreciate your feedback.

NAD limit in ISE 2.1 is 100k for RADIUS or TACACS+.
