Hi Guys
I have a customer who has been running earlier version of ISE and is mid upgrade to ISE 2.1 in an ESXi environment. The virtual machine settings are currently set to RHEL 6.0 compatibility (which is a by product of installing back in ESXi 5.X days). How critical is it to update these virtual machine properties to RHEL 7.0? Can it be done in a months time?
Reason for the ask is the change control process is reasonably painful, and they are mid-upgrade, so preference is to continue to use the RHEL 6.0 compatibility (which has been running with the ISE 2.0 deployment), and on the next change control window update the VM compatibility to 7.0.
Thanks
Peter
