I am trying to do a configuration data backup of an ISE 2.3 against a Linux system over SFTP. It has been stuck at 75% for two hours now. Is this normal? There are no networking issues in my network - the ISE can pingbackup system without any problems, and vice-versa.

You will have to stop the ISE services from the CLI to cancel the backup. I have even seen where you have to reboot the appliance to clear the stuck backup process. At 75%, it is likely an issue with the connection to your SFTP repository. I always attempt a backup from the CLI first so that I can see what errors, if any, it runs into. Then once you know it is good, use the GUI to schedule it. Same with upgrades, I never use the GUI. It just doesn't give you enough information.

Can't even cancel it:
(Cancel not allow? OK.) Any ideas as to what may be going on? It's not like this ISE is managing hundreds of thousands of entries - I have just a handful of network devices and users for testing.
