Hi Guys,
During the rebuild of ISE 2.4 application server, We encounter the issue where ISE application sever went to not running than initializing state and back to running state.
What could be potential cause of this issue ?
I assume it could be time out issue. your view or feedback much appreciated.

That 'information' is unreadable - can you re-post it some other way?
The question you're asking isn't very clear. Are you saying you upgraded to v2.4 and you noticed that the service stopped and started during this process and you want to know if this is normal? Yes, it is normal.

Dear Richard;
I have the same problem with ISE 2.4. I installed the ISE VM, made the necessary IP configs and started, but the output is as follows;
ISE2-4/admin# sh application status ise
ISE PROCESS NAME STATE PROCESS ID
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Database Listener running 2889
Database Server running 51 PROCESSES
Application Server initializing
Profiler Database running 6240
ISE Indexing Engine running 19889
AD Connector running 21436
M&T Session Database running 6050
M&T Log Collector running 15702
M&T Log Processor running 15361
Certificate Authority Service running 21199
EST Service running 21833
SXP Engine Service disabled
Docker Daemon running 6982

PassiveID Syslog Service disabled
PassiveID API Service disabled
PassiveID Agent Service disabled
PassiveID Endpoint Service disabled
PassiveID SPAN Service disabled
DHCP Server (dhcpd) disabled
DNS Server (named) disabled
ISE RabbitMQ Container running 9731
Application server state stays in initializing and never changes.
Therefore i can not get the GUI.
