Good Afternoon,
Is there a way within the CLI that you can configure a message to pop up on login to say when the previous log in was similar to how the GUI does so?

It flashes up on the screen and then the screen is cleared. It would need a change in the code to stop ISE from clearing the screen.
The linux/unix lastlog is not useable from the ISE CLI (it's in binary format) or else you could trawl that file using the command
show logging system
Hands are tied :(
Your only hope is to look in the ISE Reports
