ISE capability to query SQL Database.

I understand ISE 2.1 onwards we have capability to query external SQL Database of customer to fetch registered device information. Can some one please point me to corresponding document to share with the customer?

Follow this guide for MS SQL - Configure ISE 2.1 with MS SQL using ODBC - Cisco

And the one for PostgreSQL -Configure ODBC on ISE 2.1 with PostgreSQL - Cisco

The main takeaway is that you will need to create the stored procedures that match your db tables.  The other is that the password checking must be done in clear text.

Is it possible to query a MAC Address that is contained in a CMDB accessible via ODBC query.

We did not find a way to pass MAC Address (Calling Station ID) received in Radius Packet to the stored procedure. Does this capability provide the generic ability to compare Radius Attributes from an authentication request.
