ISE dashboard details

Hi,

Wanted to understand the following related to the ISE dashboard:

1. What does total endpoint imply? How can we segregate endpoint within this total endpoints( based on endpoint device type). I understand the licence consumption is based on Active Endpoint number, but my Customer is concerned for this increase in number for " Total Endpoint" after enabling the guest portal.

2. How do we compute the Compliance percentage which is displayed in the Metric section. As per the documents it gives details of last 24hrs. But need to how will that be computed.

Any leads to these is much appreciated!!

Thanks and Regards,

Madhuri

On 1, the total endpoint count is that in the context visibility and should be the same as the total number in ISE internal endpoint store. For guest endpoints, we may enable and define endpoint purge policy rules for cleanup. License consumption is actually based on the data in MnT. We may run the report on current active sessions and the report has columns on License Type and License Details.

On 2, Go to Context Visibility > Endpoints > Compliance. The first dashlet on compliance status should give the answer to your question.
