Hi Everyone,

Have anyone tried with https repository for backups? Question from one of my customer,

Can ISE be configured to use an external object storage such as AWS S3 (or with similar capabilities) as a repository via http/https for backups and restore, etc.?

This is not supported for backups. If you try it you get a message/log along the lines of "Writing to read-only repositories (http, https, cd-rom) is not supported".

While http and https are valid repositories for patching, upgrading, and restoring backups, I would avoid them because they do not allow for any authentication.
