I have a customer who is going through an ACS-to-ISE migration. He ran the conversion tool and the non-readable file brought in roughly 9000 NADs. They seemed to import correctly but none of them would properly authenticate in ISE. The actual migration file cannot be read, but after importing into ISE, it can be exported in CSV format and can be seen.
He also exported a config from an ISE system and tried to import those into the new ISE server. However, he gets an error saying that TACACS_PLUS is an unknown value, even though that is what was exported by ISE.
There is a big difference between the NAD variables from the conversion tool versus those exported from an existing ISE system. Does anyone have a guide as to what works and what does not when ti comes to ACS to ISE and ISE export/import?
