ISE NIC option

Hi experts

We are designing for large SDA project which mainly provides wired/wireless user authentication and guest service ,  with 4 X 3595 in each DC.  I would like to know which interface option is more recommended as best practice. Suppose interface redundancy is not mandatory requirement and there is also no request for anycast or portal to use different subnet.

  1. NIC bonding ( G0 and G1)
  2. One management interface + one service interface
  3. Only one interface (G0)

thanks

Qingguo

With no requirements for redundancy or service separation, then option 3 would be most common for simplicity.  Of course, other customers do have such requirements which drives need for NIC bonding or one or more secondary interfaces.  Some functions mandate separate interface like Profiling or Passive ID with SPAN interface.

Thanks a lot.
