ISE Upgrade from 2.7 Patch 4 to 3.0 not working

Hi all

I'm currently trying to upgrade my two physical servers from ISE 2.7 Patch 4 to 3.0 with the file ise-upgradebundle-2.4.x-2.7.x-to-3.0.0.458.SPA.x86_64.tar.gz. When doing that in the web interface I get the very weird error:

Please select Upgrade Bundle only for 3.1 upgrade

Is this a bug in Patch 4 or am I doing something wrong? I could also select a patch in this screen, but regardless of selecting Patch 2 for ISE 3.0 or not, I get the same error message about version 3.1. 

Any ideas before I start to use the CLI?

Small update. It seems that the Split upgrade is working, only the (new) Full Upgrade seems to be affected.

Split upgrade worked and my installation is now running on 3.0, which I directly upgraded to 3.0 P2.

I do have some issues with some pages in Chrome now, but this might be a caching issue (although Shift+Reload didn't help).

Another customer opened a TAC case on this, and the response from TAC was “The health check flow is meant to be used only for upgrades from 2.6/2.7 and 3.0 to 3.1. Use the Split method via GUI”

It seems that this option being available in the 3.0 GUI is misleading.
