I have 2 different types of users that go into administration>Identity Management >groups and add mac addresses into different groups. The issue is that when they are see the list of endpoints after pressing add they are not seeing the same results. The user that has less permissions seems to be seeing less mac addresses. I am under the impression that everyone should see the same list of mac addresses to pick from regardless of their permissions as this should just be a list of potential mac addresses.

When say "different permissions", I assume you have enabled RBAC and potentially changed which ID groups each role can manage. If so, then expect different entries to be visible based on ID group assignments/permissions.
