Is there a way for me to put in community strings through the web interface for ACS? or do I have to console in?
Thanks

Hi,
If you are looking for configuring community string to receive trap on ACS, then this is not possible with either console to GUI.
Thanks,

Thanks Mynul.
So if it is not possible both ways, then whats the alternative to having this ACS device monitored (to know when and if the device goes down)
Thanks

Hi,
Only option available on ACS is the e-mail notification. But, that is useful only when you have ACS running and only a process dies, and that's what most of time happens. I hardly saw any instance when the the whole application crash.
Thanks,

Managing ACS would have to be done from a normal Server management aproach. Wether this be a system like Concord, Micromuse, Tivoli, or the like to manage ACS. Afterall ACS ver 3.2 runs on Win2000 server, which in turn has a SNMP service running.
You would for instance monitor the services running, the memory use, CPU util, and so forth.
Hope this helps

Hi
How exactly are you doing that (monitoring services like CPU, services running etc)? As far as I could see, and the what mohda said, there is no way for snmp community strings to be set... so how are you monitoring the device?
Thanks

I am looking for the same information.
I need the main OID used to monitoring Cisco ACS servers.
