My customer has the following problem :
Following an upgrade to v3.1.1 build 27 of ACS, they wish to log to an Oracle db.
After creating the datasource, effectively making ACS a client of the db server, they can no longer authenticate.
After turning on ODBC logging, all authentication attempts failed as the authentication service had not started, and all authentication attempts were processed by their other ACS box.
Is this a known problem ? sounds a bit buggy to me.

server versions info :
Oracle db v8.1.6.3
Oracle ODBC client driver v8.1.7.0
CiscoSecure ACS Release 3.1(1) Build 27 running on W2K Server SP3
If we enable ODBC logging of the "TACACS Acccounting" to an Oracle
database, then the Authentication Service stops.
The logging(local CSV file included) remains empty.
We have not been able to restart the Authentication Service while the ODBC logging is enabled.

Problem solved ...
This has to be the strangest problem I have evr experienced if it is completely true.
A faulty power supply has been changed on the server hardware side and all is now reported as working fine.
