Hello
I am now locked out of the ACS due to entering the following command:
username admin password hash x2D35G37 role admin
The password will not work now.
I thought the mistake was that I had made was a hash of it :-)
i.e . the password I would need to enter is a MD5 hash value of x2D35G37. This is not the case.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
D

I did make a hash of it. The ACS believes the password I entered is a MD5 hash value. Reboot required I think.....

Hi donaghq,
You will more than likely have to reboot (if you didn't save the configuration then it will revert to the old password) or if you did save the configuration after making the change, perform a password recovery via the link below:
Thanks,
Nate

Where you able to get the ACS Server back online with a reboot? I'm running 5.2 and tried to change the password the same way and locked myself out.
Thanks,
