Hello
I'm facing an upgrade of my Large deployment ACS cluster from ver 5.3.0.40 to 5.3.0.40.9.
My question is, do I have to split up my cluster into standalone servers in order to patch them?, and should i start with my primary server or does that not matter?.
The documentation on these minor patches of cluster instalations seems very very limited.
Best Regards
Martin

Hello,
yes. You have to split them.
IMHO it does not matter with which one you start patching as they are independent now after splitting the cluster.
But I remember cisco recommends starting with the secondary in its documentaiton. (if my memory helps).

Hi again
do you have a link to some official cisco documentation on the procedure for these minor patches in a cluster setup?
only thing i can see in the release notes is standalone solutions

Martin,
There is no difference in patching whether it be a cluster or standalone.

Hi,
It seemsI get confused. the documentation is talking about major upgrade in cluster environment, not about patching.
For the patching, it is not metnioning any difference between cluster and non-cluster environments.
