There is small branch which is connected to central place. Branch is connected by DSL and PIX 501 using VPN.
Now i need to auth local users and give them access to corpo network (NAC will be great but just 802.1x is also ok) and some guests (laptops with ETH) put tu internet.
I think that solution like this but for PIX:
Cisco IOS Easy VPN Remote with 802.1x Authentication
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6635/products_white_paper09186a00801fdef9.shtml
will be great? Is anythink like this planned or supported right now?
Maybe other method is better?
I can put small 2960 switch and do 802.1x with NAC but... DSL may be sometime in downstate and users will no be able to print docs, alos 501 have single inside so no way to separate guests...
What do you think?

I went through the document you specified and am not very clear about the 802.1x authentication. Who is acting as the authenticator and who is the authenticating server? Is the authentication done locally on the 821 router?

hi 802.1x authentication for vpn users is not supported on pix.
