Hi
Testing 9800, ran in to a problem with certificate issue.
What it was is my 9800 are in a device group called WLC9800 and my AireOS are in a device group called WLAN.
The policy set for 802.1x specifes that the Devie Type is WLAN, Radius-Called-Station-ID + MYSSID and is Wireless_802.1x
This is why my 9800 was failing, but I can't put the 9800 adn AireOS in the same device type as TACACS wont work and SNMP becouse of the commands.
2 Thoughts are Same as the original, with a OR device group = WLC9800, so has both,
or number 3, just have Radius-Called-Station MYSSID and Wireeles_802.1x which would make it easie.
Anyone else had this issue or is there a better way of doing it?

You can use the IP of the WLC instead of Device group as a condition, or Device name as configured in ISE.
