Does anyone know how to preserver the local database that contains the user credentials. Migrating from off an old ASA to a new platform.

You only have to copy all the "username" commands to the new ASA. That's all.

Ok, how about the site-to-site tunnel's pre-shared key? If I copy/aste the output of 'show run', will that pre-served the site-to-site's pre-shared key too?

Nope. Pre-shared keys do not show up in the "show run" output. You have to do a "more system:running-config" to get the running config with pre-shared keys and aaa-servers keys showing in the clear.
