problem with cisco secure acs v3.0 authentication

Hi,

i configure cisco acs on a server 2000 plateform but i can not performed the logging process. the error message generate is: AUTH TYPE NOT SUPPORTED BY EXTERNAL DATABASE. I can not fixed this error since two weeks and needed our help!

Hello.

Is the error message you receive on the ACS? If so, under what log? Or is it on the 2000 machine?

Are you authenticating through the ACS to an external database? Or using the existing ACS database?

Folks!

the error i receive is "Auth type not supported by external DB".

the error was generated on the failled attempts logs

i'm using a windows 2000 server plateform

i use an external database to perform authencation process. in fact, my external database is Windows Active Directory.
