Hi all;
Consider the following situation:
The "guestuser" mentioned above is a member of "GuestType_Contractor (default)" internal group:
And I have configured "Contractor" group as:
But as you can see in the first figure, the portal does not inherit the above modification...

ISE allows guest users and non-guest users (aka "employees") to register client devices, but ISE manages them separately. Guest users are those created in ISE guest services, self-registered or created by an ISE guest sponsor at an ISE sponsor portal or via ISE ERS API. All other users (e.g., ISE internal users) are considered as employees.
ISE MyDevices portals are for employees only and have the global limit as set in ISE admin webUI / Administration / Device Portal Management / Settings / Employee Registered Devices.

Thanks for your reply;
Now, for guest users, where the "Maximum devices guests can register" option takes effect?

@rezaalikhani it's during a new client device connecting to the network, the guest user login, and then either manually or automatically register the client device. A known limitation -- CSCvn77423 In Guest type Maximum devices guests can register is not working as expected.
