Is this message occurring only on this device or any other device, what is the changes in the network any recently?

Do you see any connection issues? between ISE and this device? (need more information) - also, provide what version ISE.

I am using the following topology on gns3.

I need to enable 802.1x, enable AAA and configure switchport for 802.1x using win7 port.

when i have done my configuration and tried to authenticate on win7, the warning has appeared in the following:

not responding.PNG

so i wanna know what is exactly the problem.

Is there a radius server at 192.168.17.135, and is it up/configured correctly? The radius server dead log message means that it's not responding to the switch. By default the switch will mark a radius server dead if there is no response, and then also by default it will mark it alive again, this process repeats.

It can be a routing issue, a source IP issue, a radius key mistyped, missing network device on the radius server etc. Plenty of reasons why this can happen.

Good, you posted a background of the information that you try to achieve here.

So this was lab environment never worked - or this may be misconfigured Lab as per i can see here.

i would suggest checking all the configuration and its good learning step for you to crosscheck every place where possible, this will give more ability to learn your self.

here is a good guide to start with :
