hi,
Our global customer is looking at upgrading their 1.3 ISE solution (network access) to a 2.x release.
In parallel they will build a separate ISE cluster for TACACS+ (device administration), which they - ideally - want to run on the same version of ISE than their network access one.
Which ISE version would be recommended to move to today - keeping stability in mind?
Any reason to go to 2.0 or 2.1 from a longer maintenance perspective?
Many thanks
Gert

This really depends on features. For our deployment, ISE didn't work for what we needed until 2.0.1. We tested and did proof of concept on it, but when we went live, we went to 2.1 since it was current. I have not had issues with stability with this release and have started some TACACS also.
