Remote access to tacacs/Nexus

Need clarity on the below queries.,

  1. How we can perform SSH to TACACS/Nexus from a Linux instance [Remote access]
    • General understanding: we have an SSH configuration, which can be performed in the CISCO interface by enabling the SSH – taking this as an internal configuration to play in Dashboard[UI].

Note: Looking for access via SSH procedures or API call, if any.

2.    We have the RHEL satellite component, so how to discover TACACS to RHEL satellite UI, and if it supports the latest version how to step up the configuration to perform the same?

And, how does the RHEL get the security updates for TACACS OS, and what are the steps involved in applying the patches – Offline/Online?

Not sure we understand the question correctly ? are you looking to use API or you like to connect to device using SSH from Linux ?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Yes, ssh from jump host to TACACS/Nexus

I still don't understand the question. Are you asking how to configure the Nexus switch to permit SSH connectivity from the Linux jumphost or just how to use SSH on the Linux jumphost in general?

The reference to 'TACACS OS' and 'TACACS/Nexus' is also confusing. Cisco Nexus switches use the NX-OS operating system. TACACS+ is a protocol used for AAA, not an operating system.

More detail or maybe a diagram of what you are trying to do would help the Community provide assistance.

Modified Q2:
How to get the Security OS patches for TACACS OS[ADE-OS], and what are the steps involved in applying the patches – Offline/Online?

Again, the terminology you are using is confusing. 'TACACS OS' is not a thing.

If you are asking about patches for the Cisco ISE software (which includes the underlying ADE-OS), you would need to download the patches from https://support.cisco.com.

See the Release Notes for your version of ISE for the options/procedure for installing a patch.
Example from ISE 3.2 Release Notes
