Is this distributed deployment or ISE a standalone box.

Is this a one time error or is occurring quite frequently .
Please share the complete error.

It is a distributed deployment, the error occurred 8 time, first on Mar 16, twice, and once on Mar 17, and 5 times on Mar 18.

Here is the detailed error message:

Alarms: Log Collection Error

Description:
The ISE M&T collector process is unable to persist the audit logs generated from the Policy Service nodes

Suggested Actions:
This will not impact the actual functionality of the Policy Service nodes, Please contact TAC

Hi,

I have seen this error occurring due to session DB corruption in ISE.

We may need to reset this ISE node. Here are the steps:

application configure ise

Selection ISE configuration option
[1]Reset Active Directory settings to defaults [2]Display Active Directory settings [3]Configure Active Directory settings [4]Restart/Apply Active Directory settings [5]Clear Active Directory Trusts Cache and restart/apply Active Directory settings [6]Enable/Disable ERS API [7]Reset M&T Session Database [8]Rebuild M&T Unusable Indexes [9]Purge M&T Operational Data [10]Reset M&T Database [11]Refresh M&T Database Statistics [12]Display Profiler Statistics [13]Exit

Select option 7 to reset the session DB.
This will cause an interruption of the service, and therefore it is best to be carried out of business hours.
This will ensure there is no leftover of any corruption in the session db.

Regards,

Aditya
