Hi Guys,
Currently I am migrating my current DHCP server to a new one. During assessment, came up an idea why bring the guest access to the new DHCP server. Usually the users are around 200-500.
So here is the network flow. Guests will connect to the WiFi. The AP is provisioned by WLC. The authentication is redirected to ISE using a web redirection.
I see some other threads discussing ISE as DHCP. The replies said that it is possible but not for general use. But is it possible for my case?

Hi,
ISE is not recommended to use as a DHCP server. its using for internal requirements of ISE itself. better do DHCP server migration and use same for DHCP use.

Hi Kasun,
May I know why is that? Is there a specific reason?
I see the following DHCP option on the guest portal element. How does this work actually?
