Dear all,
Currently, we are configuring an SMS gateway from ISE for our guest portal with an internal SMSC.
But we have a problem. We can send an SMS to a test phone number from the SMS test in the guest portal menu (portal customization), but with the sponsor portal we can send SMS to the guest.
When we view the logs with the following command: show logging application guest.log tail
We don't see anything coming from the sponsor account. But from the manage account, we have the following guest log message: 2024-10-17 16:20:24,117 ERROR [portal-http-service48][] cisco.ise.portalwebaction.controller.PortalPreResultListener -:login:- mobileDevice is null or empty : null.
Please help me to solve this problem.
Thank you for your help.

What is an "internal SMC"?
I'm not sure on this specific error but why do you want to do this? This is only guest internet right? Why collect cell numbers at all? Why not just an AUP or self-registration?

to send the guest credentials (username and password) by SMS and we are
configure the SMS gateway like the SMTP gateway. For the SMS gateway we
are using SMS HTTP API , we have facing with a problem. The guest cannot
receive the SMS.##- Veuillez saisir votre réponse au-dessus de cette ligne

But why? What value does requiring credentials actually provide?

fills out the registration form and behind the approval is made by the
sponsor email admin, that the guest receives their login credentials by SMS
and not by email. It's a choice on our part. And now I'm facing another
problem when I look at the logs:
com.cisco.cpm.guestaccess.exception.GuestAccessSystemException:
org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException: ip server SMS failed to respond
com.cisco.cpm.guestaccess.apiservices.exception.PortalSystemException:
Error while generating SMS

Hi,
First log message looked to underline a configuration error, second log message looks to underline a connectivity issue with SMS server or integration issue. Have you followed these guidelines when doing the integration?
Best,
Cristian.
