After creating a sponsored account in the sponsor portal, if from first login is configured in the Guest Type, within the Manage Accounts tab the Time Left field will display the Guest Account Purge Policy, Expire portal-user information after xxx days value (60 days in my case) instead of the period of time specified when the account was created. For example, if I specify 1 day as the account length, the sponsor see's 60 days instead of seeing 1 day (assuming the guest user has not yet logged in).
Once the guest logs in, the field then displays the current value. In this example, perhaps 23 hrs 55 mins instead of 60 days.
It's not at all logical to show the sponsor how long until an inactive account will be purged instead of showing the period of time the account was created for (1 day).
None of the other date/time fields help overcome this issue. I could hide the column but once the user logs in, the field is *then* correct and useful.
Does anyone know of a work-around?

I think this is by-design. I do not think any workaround other than informing the sponsor users this is how it works or re-label the field more appropriate to you.
With first-login, the guest users will have no expiration dates until logged-in. That is why the "Time Left" field to indicate when the accounts will be removed.

Thanks - I'll document it as a limitation.

Also remember in most installs we usually do the time starts from the first user login. So you specifying 1 day doesn't really mean anything as it is one day from the first time the use the credentials which could be any time in the next 60 days. You may not be using the from first login option, but that is usually how I setup the guest types at my customers. I don't think I have used absolute guest timers for many years (i.e. clock starts at time of creation).

Thanks - yes, from first login is the best option I think and that's in use.
None the less, if a sponsor creates an account for 1 day and they see 90 days (or some other number) in the column it's going to be confusing. Regardless of 'from first login', what the column displays isn't logical. If it displayed the number of days the account was created for, at least I could rename it "days remaining from first login" or something similar.
