The order in which DNS settings are changed.

Hello

I'm running a Cisco ISE 1.4 at Dedicated deployment (separate PAN Primary/Secondary, MnT Primary/Secondary  and PSNs)

I plan to change the IP address of the DNS server.

When changing the DNS server settings with the CLI, is there an order? For example, it is necessary to first implement PAN Primary

1.Change PAN Primary and reboot

2.Change PAN Secondary and reboot

3.Change MnT Primary and reboot

4.Change MnT Secondary and reboot

5.Change PSNs and reboot

Tahnks.

Just to add to Hari ,

I would treat it much like an upgrade so for example you would start with PAN Secondary , once services are back up , promote it to Primary and then complete the change on the second one.

The order with MnT doesn't really matter as they are continuously synced.

The most important thing to keep in mind is the downtime!

The order does not really matter. Ideally, all configured DNS servers before and after are able to perform proper DNS resolutions for the ISE nodes during the maintenance.
