trunk port doesnt work in closed mode?

Hi,

Currently i tested out tht trunk port will fail 802.1X closed mode. 

Is there any way to overcome this limitation?

Does 802.1X closed mode work if i hv 5 vlans running on the trunk port like voice, data, vm,etc?

Hi,

 "switchport mode trunk" was not supported in the past few years. But i guessed it is now.

But there are some limitation which i am not sure especially on the "switchport mode trunk" with "switchport voice vlan" under interface config.

Some switches only has  "switchport mode trunk" but no "switchport voice vlan" cfg.  

Wht is the difference when it comes to closed mode for these 2 scenarios?

Best to avoid doing 802.1X on trunk ports. I do not think it well supported.

You may want to consult the switch platform support teams for confirmation or for additional info.
