unable to restart Cisco ISE PSN node

i am having trouble restarting one of my ISE nodes

sns-3595-k9

ISE 3.0  patch 6

i stopped the ISE application

iseserver/admin# sh application status ise

DNS Server (named) disabled
ISE Messaging Service not running
ISE API Gateway Database Service not running
ISE API Gateway Service not running
Segmentation Policy Service disabled
REST Auth Service disabled
SSE Connector disabled

 

i issue the reload command and below is the screen output i get

iseserver/admin# reload

Trying to stop processes gracefully. Reload might take approximately 3 mins

after 2 hours i log back on to the node and the uptime remains the same and the device has not restarted.

 

any ideas?

Contact TAC, they can collect start up dump to find the root cause of this issue.

@Pete C since application server not running, can you try hard reboot. may be some services strucked at restart process.
