I need to upgrade a primary and secondary instance running on VM's of Cisco ACS 5.7 to 5.8.
I see steps in the guides that tell me to upgrade the log collector and define remote log target etc.
Then in the same guide, it shows that I can use the application upgrade bundle. My question is has anyone had to do this and can give me insight into what I am up against and the second question is do I have to do all of the steps that include the 1. upgrade the log collector 2. deregister the old log collector etc. or can i just apply the application bundle to both boxes and go on
