Hello,
I'm trying to create a special group of Clients to authenticate via ACS-Server without a password.
Creating a user in ACS without a password leads to the error-message "Cannot set blank password for a user unless they are in a VoIP group".
If I try to put this users to a group with "Voice-over-IP Support" enabled I receive the following error message in the Failed-Attempts report: "Access denied to Voice-over-IP group".
Anybody any ideas?
regards
HMK

As I recall VoIP authentication is a little odd.
The authentication request MUST have a password included, and it must have a value of "" ie empty.
Otherwise it'll fail. Dont think there are any other restrictions.

Hello,
thanks for your response. What do you mean with "a little odd". I could not find any useful documentation on this feature. Could you perhaps provide me with a link other than the ACS User Guide.
regards
HMK
