VPN with PDM on PIX 501

Hi,

Can some one please tell me how can I configure a VPN with PDM ?

(PIX 501 PDM 1.1 PIX ver 6.2)

My company's PIX works fine an we will like to know how to configure the PIX so other stuff members can work form home and use company's resource.

And where can I download the VPN software to use with.

1. The PIX can be configured for remote VPN access via PDM, however, that's difficult to address in a text message.

I think you will find it easier to configure through the command line. If you still prefer to use PDM, it has an excellent embedded help. Just https to the pix inside interface and select help.

For a basic CLI configuration of a pix for vpn client access, see the following link:

Note this is for 6.0, but applies to 6.2 as well.

2) You can download the vpn client from the software center:

BTW, if you are going to manage the PIX with PDM, you need to upgrade to 2.x.
