Just a quick question: Is Anyconnect Apex license required if we only use Anyconnect NAM as a 802.1x supplicant rather than Posture functionality?
Of course, I understood that Anyconnect Apex is required when Anyconnect NAM is working for Posture for a supplicant. But seems the ISE ordering guide doesn't tell it clearly.
Thanks,
-David

Anyconnect NAM has nothing to do with ISE licensing. There is no correlation. Like you stated, when doing posture, Anyconnect and ISE both require APEX licenses.
Please look at the any connect guide Table 1 that states Plus is required to use NAM
