Why do I need ISE for wireless authentication

We have Windows AD and LDAP service in our environment, it supports 802.1x authentication, i'm wondering any difference between ISE and Windows LDAP?

 - Because the ISE products offer much more besides authentication, the policies allow a vast amount of possibilities including device tracking and numerous access rules and controls.
