Hi ,

For the First issue :: try to delete and re-add the device ,make sure you have the correct SNMP credentilas

Second Issue:

Delete the existing shortcut and create new one by following the below steps.

1.       Right click on the desktop , choose New Shortcut.

2.       Shortcut wizard appears, enter http://:1741 for location and click Next.

3.       Enter Cisco Works for name and click Finish.

4.       Right click on the newly created icon ,choose properties , click on Change Icon and select Cisco works icon from the

location \MDC\etc\.ico and click finish.

Third Issue:

manually copied the following three required

jar files [(avalon-framework-4.1.5-sign-1-3.jar, jacorb-sign-1-3.jar, and

logkit-1.2-sign-1-3.jar) ] from the %NMSROOT%/htdocs/campus/res directory to  the CLIENT MACHINE

C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\endorsedd

Hope this will help you !!

Thanks

Hi ,dear Afroz

      Thanks for your help

The Third Issue has been resolved, the other two did not.

      For the  first problem:

Can you tell me which is the correct Trap Community?

                 I use the SNMPV3 .

                 My configuration is as follows:

                       snmp-server community RORORO RO

                       snmp-server community RWRWRW RW

                       snmp-server group lms v3 priv

                       snmp-server user cisco lms v3 authen md5 cisco123 priv aes 128 cisco123

snmp-server host 10.10.10.10 inform ver 3 authen cisco

snmp-server host 10.10.10.10 traps ver 3 priv cisco

                       snmp-server engineID remote 10.10.10.10 upd-port 162 12a123dd123

                       snmp-server enable traps

                Will the configuration error ?

Why engineID has been randomly? E.g. :80000009030058BFEAAEDD01 .It's not my want.

And in the figure above, I should fill which?

         For the second problem:

I use the client machine .

I enter the URL directly,e.g. https://10.10.10.10  but the URL go to http://10.120.16.120:1741.

I guess this has nothing to do with the shortcut

  Help me

Thanks

I too had the problem with the jar files!

Thank you so much for your answer Afroz!
