Hi I am trying to perform ISSU on a Cisco 4k switch ,
1) I have set the value of the conf-reg to 2922.
2) I have loaded both of the switch with the same image.
3) I have also used the boot system bootflash command with both of the images name, setting the boot variable.
4) I have loaded both of the image the one which switch is running and the one to which i want to upgrade in the bootflash of the switch .
5) I have also set one rommon mode variable IssuSkipMatrixLookup=1.
6) When i do show redundancy the switch is in the SSO mode.
7) When i do sh boot var it contains only two images the one which is running and the one to which i want to upgrade.
But when I am running the issu loadversion command I am getting the message this message
%Active boot variable is Invalid.

Read THIS. I believe this is the incorrect config-registry value.

Hey Leo I tried setting the value of conf reg from
the conf t as 0x2102 but it is taking the value as 2192 by it's own and
I guess the entire value of conf reg does not matter , only the last nibble matters for both 2102 and 2922 it is set, So the problem must be some where else
