Adding my windows machine in NMS

Hai,

I have installed my Ciscoworks LMS 2.2 and RWAN 1.3.1 in the same server.

Now my doubt is whether we can monitor the Sun servers in my NMS. Here in my company they require SUN servers to be monitored in Reachability dashboard.

I added my SNMP enable machine in RME and it is added successfully showing that in Managed devices.

I added ALL in Availability polling options.

When i view in Device reachability the devices is listing but it is showing as Unknown and RED arrow mark.what else has to be done for my monitoring?

I also want my Emerson UPS (SNMP enabled one) to be monitored only for device reachability purpose.

IS it possible kndly suggest...

Using Ciscoworks you can manage only Cisco Devices and Cisco service softwares running on Windows / Unix Servers. You will not be able to manage Windows or Unix Servers even if they are SNMP enabled. By Cisco service softwares, I mean products like Cisco CallManager, Cisco Wireless LAN Solution Engine, etc.
