Hi,

Need advice for CiscoWorks so I can make up my mind to purchase it????

Can CiscoWorks provide reports for IPSEC VPN tunnel ( bandwidth used between sites )

How does the product Works on Windows 2003 Server????

Does the product has view option for Helpdesk users so that they can notify admin for issues???

What Level of Alerts does the product has???

Possible to get comparison of CiscoWorks with HP OpenView

1. Yes using Mini RMON in CiscoView on the Lan Interface.

3. Yes there is a help desk option that you can configure automatic notifications of jobs, alerts, and different actions on the LMS platform.

5. CiscoWorks and HP open view integrate with one another . CiscoWorks only manages Cisco base devices .

but all i can tell is both r different in ways

HPOpenview is lik real time monitoring tool more for link monitoring

and cisco works is like a management tool for huge assets router n config reports etc
