APIC-SERVER "insufficient licenses": 38 devices using 418 licenses...

Hello tech gods.

Our 38 leaf switches each need an essential license.
We have 38 "DCN Essential for 10G+ Leaf XF" licenses"

However, our "Smart Software Manager On-Prem" server indicates that there are 418 consumed while we actually only use 38. (see image attached).  How can we fix the problem to bring the total used down to 38?

I somewhere recall that this can be resolved by transferring the licenses to a local virtual account...

Solution:
Force a complete synchronization between the client's on-premises portal and the Cisco.com license database by logging into the APIC GUI, and clicking "Synchronize CSSM".
