Hello all,
we recently upgraded our ASR-1001X from Fuji 16.9.4 to Amsterdam 17.3.3 (universalk9). The devices also connected to cisco via cslu.
My problem is that the software licensing tool reports insufficient licenses for AVC. From the output of the router the license is in use and perpetual. It is not even in a an evaluation period.
avc (ASR_1000_AppVisibilityControl):
Description: avc
Count: 1
Version: 1.0
Status: IN USE
Export status: NOT RESTRICTED
Feature Name: avc
Feature Description: avc
Enforcement type: NOT ENFORCED
License type: Perpetual
What am I missing? Is there a way to disable the avc feature?
Thank you in advance,
Katerina

Hello,
not sure if this helps, but have a look at the document linked below:

Hello Georg,
the problem was resolved via TAC.
Thanks!

What an unhelpful reply.
Our issue was one line in our netflow config, under flow record we had "collect application name". Removing that removed the avc license and allowed the rest of the netflow to work.

Sorry you found the reply unhelpful, but in our case there was an issue with the licenses that needed to be resovled via TAC.
No configuration error on the device or anything of the sort.
Cheers
